It is used to extend the transmitting distance between two Gigabit Ethernet Twisted-pair devices via fiber cable transparently without performance degradation. OP-ECM74221-0.5 converter provides SC connector for multi-mode fiber cables and allows extending distance up to 500 meters on 50/125 fiber cable and 350 meters on 62.5/125 fiber cable.
OP-ECS74221-10 converter provides SC connector for single-mode fiber cable and allows extending distance up to 10 KM. The customers can choose different model basing on transmitting distance requirement. The maximum distance for single-mode can reach up to 80KM.
