Application
FTTH stand-alone media converters comply with IEEE802.3, IEEE802.3u and IEEE802.3x Standards. It is designed to convert data signal between 10/100 Base-Tx and 10/100 Base-Fx fast Ethernet. The data signal converted by such high performance of the media converters can be transmitted up to 120km by optical cable.
The converters are equipped with two optical connectors, one for transmitting-Tx and the other for receiving-Rx, and one RJ-45 port supporting auto-negotiation MDI/MDI-X. Six LED indicators are built-in for diagnosing and monitoring the working status of the device.
The media converter is compact, cost-effective, low power consumption, reliability and stability. When it is used as stand-alone one, the applicable power supply can be chosen as 220VAC or -48VDC.
